International Forum on Turning Waste into Sustainable Construction Resources

The Hong Kong Waste Management Association, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University – Dept. of Civil & Environmental Engineering and Shenzhen University – College of Civil Engineering, have joined hands to organize an “International Forum on Turning Waste into Sustainable Construction Resources” at Chiang Chen Studio Theatre, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University on 20 April 2016 (Wednesday).

The forum timely echoes the imminent and practical needs for the sustainable waste management aspects in Hong Kong, addressing the huge quantities of construction and demolition (C&D) wastes, waste glass and combustion residues including incineration, coal and steel ashes to be anticipated from the IWMF in Hong Kong. The forum aims aims to bring together experts from Europe, US, UK, Mainland China, Taiwan and Hong Kong to share their lastest knowledge in tackling the commonly-faced problems and creating opportunity to benefit the construction industries.
